You’ve made some mistakes. LITTLE ONES- like not having enough stock/prep to serve a number of major menu items tonight, or BIG ONES - removing the pork chop altogether from the menu… I’m not even gonna ask. HUGE ONES - Allowing a four-year veteran that represents your concept very well to go down the road to a competitor- like I did tonight. Aaron’s efficiency, urgency and execution were about the only reason why I kept showing up, given your BOH’s lack of heart. You can miss placing an order- 86 a third of the menu… miss the mark - even ON THE REGULAR- which YOU DO…. And people will still keep coming back because of the team you assemble. Letting a pro like Aaron (and whoever else you bully) get away is slow suicide.

Thus was the third try for this location. 1st try ordered a medium rare ribeye came out medium, no problem everyone else's was good. Second try ordered a filet medium rare again, came out medium well. Manager made another one. Third try my table sat at 6:40 rare prime rib, rare filet, and medium rare bone in ribeye. Apps and salad came out with 5 minutes of ordering, then we waited. By 7:15 kids meals had showed up, adult meals finally arrived about 7:30. We'll done filet, medium well ribeye, and prime rib was rare ish. Manager did take the two over cooked off the bill, but we didn't want to wait for another round of steak. Think I'll be going to Longhorn from here on out.

Well, first of all a little too much staff interaction. The server stood at the table and talked to my boyfriend for 20 minutes before the idea of taking an order ever came up, and I mean a drink order. I’m sorry I don’t care about her eyeglass prescription, but I don’t! We discovered that while I had printed the receipt for the $50 gift card I had given my boyfriend he needed to have the phone with the gift card on it and he’d left that at home. The manager stood hovered at the table, as if she thought we couldn’t pay the bill if we didn’t have the gift card so all my salads out there that I’ve waited for all day I spent that time on my phone trying to get into my boyfriend’s email. Our food finally came, and I’ve only gotten about five bites of my salad. The manager then got the right idea that maybe she should wander off and come back later. Well, I’m still trying to get the gift card up and of course the waitress comes back to give him instructions on how to order another beer. Not sure what her infatuation was with my boyfriend as he’s a good bit older than the waitress, but really less staff interaction is probably better. Then, of course, the family came in and their kids started screaming. The answer they had that problem was to talk louder so they could hear each other over the kids screaming instead of taking the child out to see what the problem was. The next time the waitress showed up. I actually managed to get her attention off of my boyfriend for a minute and over to me so I could tell her I needed a box. So I took home by then cold, baked potato and sirloin steak. They would not reheat as well as you would think. Especially since I had everything on the baked potato. Did I mention I don’t get to go out to eat that often unless it’s somewhere that I’m carrying a tray back to a table after I stop and get my own drink? This is something I’ve waited for all day. So I’ve reheated the baked potato and steak and took a bite of the steak only to discover not only are ribs entirely too spicy now, but apparently they’re doing it to sirloin steak too. In the event that I ever get to go out to eat at a Restaurant where I get to sit down and someone brings me my food instead of carrying it out on a tray myself it won’t be that Outback Steakhouse in Steele Creek. I was very disappointed in the behavior of the staff. I can’t speak to the quality of the food other than saying it’s too spicy at least the steak is. Reheating it probably does not give it its best opportunity to shine, but it’s a chain steakhouse so I probably shouldn’t expect much there. But in the future, I don’t care about your glasses prescription, I don’t care what you did when it snowed, I’m tired. I’ve worked all day. I just wanna have a peaceful meal. Just take my order and bring me my food.

Took my son for the kids eat free night. His chicken tenders took 45 minutes and my 6oz steak with 4 shrimp took at least an hour from the time of order. I had to go get the server to ask if our food was coming since he didn’t check on us for most of that time. He was nice about it, apologized, and sent the manager over. Manager gave me a weird look and also apologized for the delay BUT continued to tell me that we came in after a large party, seemingly putting some of the blame on us, which is not a great excuse and honestly an amateur move. I guess that’s my fault for not picking a good time to eat at the restaurant. Furthermore, my food came out almost 30 minutes after the big group received their food, so I’m not sure what was going on in the kitchen. We arrived right after 6:30pm and weren’t able to leave until 8:10pm. It would have been nice for someone to let me know there was going to be such a long wait for food, but I doubt they even knew what was going on. If I ever return, I’ll be sure to check there are no large parties seated since this restaurant cannot handle volume, according to the manager. I’m sure whatever response I get here, if any, will be the same canned response found on other negative reviews.

Waited about an hour for our food to come. Server was forgetful about refills, items. Ordered a medium well ribeye, got medium rare instead. Had 2 sides that came with the meal. Only got 1 side. Server said she'll ask manager to discount my bill cause of it. That didnt happen. She offered to bring it for me to take it home. Kind of pointless, since i already just about finished my food. Been awhile since I been to outback, always go to longhorn or Texas roadhouse. I'll stick to the places that provide good experiences and food made to order. Won't be going back.
