Ms. April was friendly, attentive, and is clearly an experienced server. Ask for her when you visit. The table agreed the best side is the brussel sprouts! Fave appetizer was the crab cake! No complaints with any of the dishes. I appreciate that Oak is not overcrowded and provides an intimate setting. Dim lighting and light laughter from people enjoying a night out. My kind of restaurant! Will be visiting again.

We finished the evening with a decadent chocolate tart and French press coffee — the perfect ending to a perfect meal. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. Tables were nicely spaced, the relaxing jazz music added to the ambiance, and while the restaurant had a lively energy, it was still easy to hold a conversation without feeling crowded. Having dined at numerous fine dining restaurants in Charlotte, Oak Steakhouse has quickly become our favorite after just one visit.
