We have tried Morton’s a few times and have been disappointed each time. Last night reminded us and solidified that we won’t be back. Food is below quality expected on all fronts. 8oz filet was decent though Wagyu filet was quite disappointing. Brussels sprouts were undercooked, gratin potatoes were alright though nothing special. Aqua panna seemed off, it was brought to table with lid already removed, so not sure. Desserts were not very good. While I understand restaurants have off nights, when spending $250+ on a meal for 2 people, quality and service should be great.

I never come on Google to leave bad reviews but after my groups New Year’s Eve dinner I had to. Our server was extremely rude and the service was extremely slow. I think we ended up being there for 4 hrs not by choice it just took so long to get anything from drinks to food. A lot of orders in our group came out incorrect as well. The food was not good either. Our server was so rude and it was just overall a negative experience. Will not be returning.

Where do I begin? We were completely ok with waiting 15 mins past our reservation time (it was Christmas). Upon being seated we immediately saw a couple sending their steaks back (which should have been a red flag). We decided to order the dumplings (the wagyu was beyond recognition, dry, and tasteless). Then we ordered the wedge salad. The dressing was goopy and extremely sweet. And there’s a difference between a wedge and a half of icebergs head of lettuce. We finally received our tomahawk steak (“medium”) which was inconsistently cooked. The flavor tasted burnt. It was terrible to see such an expensive large cut of steak treated so poorly. The “loaded” mashed potatoes looked like someone dropped them. The creamed spinach and the mushrooms were the only thing to save the incredibly bland and burnt cut of steak. Overall the experience left Morton’s feeling a poorly run sports bar. Other tables returned their food or got their food to-go because of the delayed service. It was disappointing to pay over $300 for such a terribly tasteless experience.

Really bad experience is evening for our Christmas dinner. My family and I have been to several steakhouses over the years and this was one of the most disappointing. Meatball appetizer was awful as the outside was rock hard like it had been sitting under the broiler for a long time. Our drinks were constantly left empty and had to continuously had to ask for refills. My husband’s steak came out incorrect. He ordered a bone in ribeye and was delivered a regular steak not on the bone. We had to waive our server down to tell her. We were told a manager would be over but one never came. We waited another 20 minutes for them to come clear our empty plates. We didn’t even stay for dessert or coffee as we thought it may take another hour to come to our table. My dad had to find a manager to tell him what happened. His response is that it was hard for him to get staff to come in on Christmas. My response to that is to not be open if you can’t provide the service. They did discount the steak and some sides but at that point our night already left a sour taste in our mouth.
