    I GOT EVERYBODY BEAT! Driving through Charlotte, I wanted coffee, Ordered it mobile on the 'next McDonalds' (sugar creek). We rolled off the freeway into a line not moving, crazy wait, shady people in the parking lot, actually got panhandled while stuck in the drive through ('can you spare a dollar'?). We had an appt, just wanted a coffee, had to DRIVE OFF WITHOUT GETTING IT! It was insane. I have NEVER HAD that happen. ... at a McDonalds?

    DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION MANAGEMENT SHOULD BE FIRED She's about to go viral with the video I just took this morning. Absolutely the worst McDonald’s experience I’ve ever had. I came through the drive-thru this morning to use a McDonald’s app code for a free breakfast sandwich with a $1 or more purchase. After waiting in line for about 10–15 minutes, the woman on the speaker finally answered and rudely said, “We’re only taking card. What do you want?” By this time there is 6 or 7 cars in either lane and people are LEAVING the line while honking (can't blame them) I'm a little more patient, so I waited it out. I gave her the code, and she snapped that it was invalid, I repeated the code and she yelled at me, “I already tried it four or five times!” (I had waited so long at the speaker for someone to do the bare minimum and take an order, that the code had timed out) 😂 I asked if she could scan the QR code instead because it wouldn't let me back out and try again (it was a once a day code) Now, normally I would have no issue with just paying for the sandwich at that point. If this person had been courteous and apologized for the wait and explained why it had taken 15 minutes to simply press a button and talk into a microphone that is literally strapped to your face... but she ignored me and instead took another order at the lane over leaving me talking to myself. . . 🙃 When she came back, she said their scanner didn’t work and told me to leave if I didn't want to order. When I asked for a manager, she shouted, “I AM THE MANAGER!” I couldn’t believe how unprofessional she was. I offered to just pay for something else (like an apple pie) so she could honor the deal despite the code not working and she yelled, “We don’t have apple pies!” So I said, “Then an iced coffee.” when I pulled up to the 1st window she said "I was thinking about giving you the sandwich" but changed her mind because I was an "asshole", I told her I was never an asshole I just wanted her to honor the deal. She screamed at me "NO!" And continued to say "you don't get nothing!" Called me a few more names and kept swearing so I activated Karen mode and I pulled my phone out and started recording. I've never done this but BOY did her tone change. 🤣 She refused to give me her name you can even see her make sure she was hiding her name badge when I asked! I'm no detective but when someone doesn't want to he identified they usually know they are in the wrong... LOL. she called me a “jackass,” threatened to call the police, (classic victim mentality, boohoo) and even tried to contact my job to complain about ME! 😂 This woman should not be in customer service, let alone management. I dont know what's going on in her life to make her this miserable at work but I pray that it gets better for her because DANG! I have the video of the interaction and will post it here, ENJOY. I have shared it with corporate, I'm also going to post it everywhere. It’s no wonder this location only has 3 stars out of 3000 reviews, and so many 1-star reviews — clearly the management is part of the problem. I didn't even eat the sandwich or drink the coffee because I wouldn't put it past her to do something to the food or drink. 💀💀💀

    UNSAFE AREA. We were just passed through on the highway & needed a rest stop. This McDonalds has a metal fence around it. The side separating it from the hotel next door has barbed wire across the top!There are ppl camping on the sidewalk who had started a campfire right on the street. There are signs saying you can only sit to eat for 30 minutes or you'll be asked to leave. You have to have a code to enter the bathroom that you only get if you buy something. DON'T STOP HERE.

    By far the worse McDonald's I have ever been too. Placed a mobile order for the drive thru, waited 15 minutes at the drive thru for someone to respond, no one answered, I had to drive up to the window to get someone. Then was told that I bypassed the drive thru and was my fault that they messed up the orders. I could hear the employees yelling on how they are getting pissed off at other employees. I will check avoid this store from now on. Bad customer service.

    The staff here - especially at night is extremly rude and unhelpful. When there was an issue with my mobile order the store manager on duty told me to go away so i wouldnt mess up her timer and refused to help me even when I was showing her the order on my account. Gave me no help in sorting out the order or getting a refund. I work late nights and this is frequently the only place open and time and time again the staff is geniuenly awful and mean to customers. Edit: I added a star back to service because of one vary kind young man who was working alone one night he was vary funny and kind ! I just went by again and both the man and the woman previously mentioned were working. The man was kind, the woman was silent even when I tried to talk to her. Also; There is a large homeless population nearby and it is NOT the fault of the staff but I have been harassed and assaulted in the parking lot, in my car while using the drive through, I am usually here late at night due to my work and not much else being open and it can be quite scary. More lighting would be nice.
