  I’m not going to lie the food is not even close to good enough for the customer service to be so bad. Atleast greet the customers and show a little urgency if the food is going to be a 4/10.

  They mean well. Good location but ordering online didn't absolve me from errors. No gravy and got gravy. Estimated pickup meant nothing. I was 13minutes later than the ETA and Uber alert saying it should be ready but he was just making the plates. Here's the thing .. it's not cooked to order so how and why is there such a delay?? No idea. Anywhooz they go down a cafeteria line of prepared food items and place them in a Togo container. Chicken is dark meat ONLY. He placed gravy over the food and I could see him thinking that's when I confirmed it was my order. He apologized but I got the sense money must be tight or food waste is off the charts or they are just tight. No idea but I asked how did such happen ....it's in wirting. No gravy on anything (I got 2 plates). He said muscle memory. I'm like but you're reading the ticket. At any rate, I conceded and took the plate as I figured I could give it away to the hubs. Guess what? He didn't want that gravy either. Grateful for Wisconsin and Louisiana establishments doesn't do gravy as I first saw such in Chicago South suburbs. In all, the plantains were tough. I like a sweet plantain that's macerated and sat with some char because they are even better. These were just tough. The dark meat will never be for me. The rice and beans were decent but again not fresh and hot out of the pot. Just in a warmer. Huge piece of ginger was found in mother's rice and peas. I thought I'd return for grilled fish but hubs said for $30 we can throw it on our own grill. Hope others find enjoyment but it didn't land with us. I didn't see any dine in options meaning no tables or chairs were seen.

  This was my first time coming here and when I walked into restaurant the worker never looked up and never spoke until I went over and said hello how are you?? She said hey and kept working now how rude is that 🤷🏽‍♀️ also I asked do you have another menu to look at cause the board is moving too fast for me to see what I want she said look on the wall and proceeded back working .. I was like Lady let me order I asked for curry shrimp cabbage and rice I never thought curry was sooooooo freaking spicy 🌶️ Jesusss take the wheel

  If you want bones, and scraps then this is your place. Service was slow and unprofessional. Food was either too spicy or too bland. This is the worse Jamaican restaurant in Charlotte. Wasted 45.00 on garbage. If anyone has any better recommendations please share. ( I also tried the location on Tryon St. Same sentiments)

  Ordered the jerk chicken with rice and peas and cabbage. Food was amazingggg—Will definitely come back to try other plates!
