Copper Indian Restaurant on East Blvd in South End is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm hospitality and an inviting, modern atmosphere that makes it perfect for both casual dinners and special nights out. The food is outstanding rich, authentic flavors in every dish. The curries are perfectly spiced, the naan is fresh and fluffy, and the appetizers are bursting with flavor. You can really taste the quality and care that goes into every plate. Whether you’re a fan of classic favorites like butter chicken and biryani or looking to try something new, everything here is consistently delicious. Service is friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. It’s clear they care about their guests and take pride in what they serve. Copper has quickly become one of my go-to spots in South End for Indian cuisine. Highly recommend to anyone looking for amazing food, great service, and a wonderful dining experience!

My partner and I made a date night reservation at Copper and I was blown away. We shared the samosas appetizer and it was delicious and well presented. I enjoyed one of their cocktails, I can’t recall the name but it was a twist on a French 75 using Aperol and Rosé and was DELICIOUS. We ordered the chicken tikka masala and the sagg paneer entrees with a side of regular naan. Everything tasted fantastic. Service was good, certainly a lengthier meal as it took a true two hours. We were seated and served water and placed our order(all items at once) after almost 15 minutes at the table. Then got appetizer about 15 minutes after. We got our main dishes an hour after we sat. My one note is that for a restaurant that feels this elevated I do think the restroom could also be elevated.

The food, the service and the atmosphere was above and beyond. I sat at the bar and the bartender Elaine was very attentive and made the experience wonderful. All the servers were very friendly and attentive as well and checked in frequently. The food came out delicious and portion size was great. Would definitely come back and recommend to any one looking for good Indian cuisine.

Don’t waste your time or money at Coopers. The saag paneer was practically black. This means it’s old; the iron in the greens has oxidized. The server said it was made same day. It was hard to believe that. When I make saag paneer at home it’s bright green for days. The other dishes lacked flavor and the prices were out of line for portion size. You’re paying about $18-19 per entree for about 1 1/2 cups of food with bland sauce. Their sesame cauliflower appetizer is boring and lacks any discernible flavor; Trader Joe’s is better. Lastly, the bathrooms are gross. Both the men’s and women’s bathroom reeked of urine and the floors were dirty. I’d skip Coopers.

The food was really delicious but way over priced. I noticed my family, along with all the minorities were sat in the back room with no windows, whereas the front, with maybe two couples of color in a huge space, have much more room and, what looked to me, had a better experience. It definitely felt like racial profiling in my opinion. It took a significant time to get our waiters attention, even just to get our water filled, and, as a woman, I noticed that he only took my father seriously and overlooked me when I was in need of assistance.
