I always find Caribou to be extremely consistent and usually the Caribou staff is incredibly friendly no matter the location….this location is by far the worst Caribou I have been to. The woman who took my order had her AirPods in talking to her boyfriend while taking my order and barely acknowledged me other than a “what do you want” after me already waiting 5 minutes trying to get her attention and hearing all of the details of her personal dating life…it made me feel like I was an inconvenience and interrupting her conversation. The drink was horrible — I asked for almond milk and it was not almond milk (I’m highly lactose intolerant), I saw them unscrew the cap from a new vanilla syrup and just pour it into the drink instead of using the pump or any measuring device. It was the worst crafted press I have ever had and it was inedible just because of all of the sugar. Was sooo much syrup it was incredibly disgusting. Very disappointed because I spent $8 on an extra large of my favorite drink just to throw it away after one sip. Staff was so uninterested I didn’t even bother asking them to redo it, I was scared they would not take that well. Was looking forward to treating myself upon discharge from the hospital and left not wanting to ever come back. Anyway, do yourself a favor and go the extra few miles to the Caribou on Park Rd or Fairview. Both of those locations are incredibly consistent, the drinks are amazing, and the staff is always so friendly and accommodating. Will not be returning to this one and if this were my first Caribou experience, I would have not gone to Caribou again. Luckily I do know that this location is an outlier and not a good representation of one of my favorite companies. Hope they get it together! Will be sticking with the Park Road location.
