I had an extremely upsetting experience at this Food Lion. After paying for my groceries at self-checkout, a police officer approached me in the parking lot because staff falsely claimed I hadn’t paid. Thankfully, the officer said he informed staff that he personally saw me complete my purchase and I showed him my receipt to confirm.
Instead of simply speaking to me inside, the employees chose to involve law enforcement over nothing. This was humiliating, disrespectful, and unacceptable. As someone new to Charlotte it's sad when you cant even buy groceries at a store. Since the staff want to accuse people falsely they need not worry about my return. No customer should ever be falsely accused of theft.

Gave this rating for the sideways wig “Ms. Smith who’s supposed to be a manager. Learn some customer service you’re rude, nasty and unprofessional. The way I heard you speak about shoppers is absolutely unacceptable and has been reported to corporate. The store already looks a mess, a true reflection of you.
