  I recommend the refresher dragonfruit lemon drop but the large size because it was just too good. Nice atmosphere to dine in if your friends from town need a good breakfast spot.

  Myself and my significant other stopped by on Saturday morning for to pick up some bagels for a picnic at Freedom Park - Sean at the register was absolutely so sweet. He gave us recommendations for other green spaces uptown, and made one of the best cinnamon sugar bagels I’ve ever tasted! 10/10 will be coming back again.

  This is definitely one of the best breakfast spots in Charlotte, especially in the South End area. One thing that really stood out was the new staff, they were incredibly nice, welcoming, and made the whole experience even better this time. Service was quick, everything was clean and well organized, and the atmosphere felt very inviting.

  It was good! We bought three bagel sandwiches; my favorite was the maple bagel, and the next best was the avocado bagel. I don't remember all the names, but I'm giving it four stars because the drinks were too sweet.

  This is the second time in one week that I’ve had a very disappointing experience at this Einstein Bros. Bagels location. I have been coming here for years, so the recent drop in both service and food quality is extremely noticeable. Today I ordered a lox bagel after standing in line for quite a while. When I finally reached the register, the cashier looked directly at me and said “Next customer please” to the person behind me as if I wasn’t standing there. Thankfully, the other customer politely gave her look indicating I was next. I also heard the cashier explaining the rewards program to the customer before me, but she skipped over telling me about it entirely. I only discovered the information when I later looked at the bottom of my receipt. Do to that I will not be signing up. When placing my order, I specifically asked that they make sure there was enough cream cheese on the bagel—not extra, just the normal amount so you can actually taste it. I’m aware of shrinkflation and understand that businesses sometimes reduce portions due to rising costs, but that does not give a business the right to short or skim customers on the ingredients that make the sandwich what it is which I’ve had this issue before. As to why I give this request. Unfortunately, the bagel I received had barely any cream cheese at all. You could clearly see most of the bagel with almost no spread. It also wasn’t cut in half, and I wasn’t asked whether I wanted it cut or toasted. To make matters worse, several employees to be specific so no one else gets blamed for what I’m saying it was several Caucasian employees and a Hispanic woman who were gathered at the back counter where the food is prepared, standing around talking and gossiping about their personal lives instead of focusing on preparing orders properly. Meanwhile, the two African-American employees And one Caucasian man with blonde hair in a ponytail were the ones at the front actively taking orders and serving customers while others remained in the back talking. Seeing staff socialize while customers wait and receive poorly prepared food is extremely frustrating. The sandwich looked nothing like the photo or the way it used to be made when I first started coming here. Last Saturday I also ordered an avocado bagel that was honestly disgusting, and I regret not leaving a review then. I understand businesses get busy, but standing around talking while customers receive poorly made food and inattentive service is unacceptable. This location used to be reliable, but lately the quality, attention to detail, and professionalism have clearly declined.
