Great food. Disco naan is a specialty. Lamb and chicken dishes for appetizers and main are great.

Not typical indian. Good! But not regular style. Old white people love it!

Modern Indian food in Charlotte, NC 3.75/5⭐️ I haven’t been here in years, but I used to come here a lot growing up, so I was excited to try it again. The food was good, but nothing out of this world. I ordered the Keema Bhatura Chaat ($14), Murgh Tikka Masala ($21), and garlic naan ($5). The chaat was definitely my favorite—it was delicious and really stood out. The curry, on the other hand, was just okay. I wish it had a bit more flavor. Overall, it was decent, but not as good as I remembered.

4.5/5 ⭐ — Copper is a beautiful take on modern Indian cuisine in uptown Charlotte. The setting alone makes it worth the visit. It is housed in a repurposed home built in 1908, and the atmosphere is charming. Candlelight, white cloth napkins, and thoughtful details create a warm and elevated dining experience. The food matched the setting. Everything was well-prepared and full of flavor. Our favorite was the Black Sesame Apricot Chili Glazed Chicken Tikka with roasted pepper crème and market vegetables. It was rich, balanced, and memorable. Service was great throughout the meal, and we appreciated the convenience of plenty of parking and the option to make reservations. Overall, this is a really lovely place for a nice evening out. A spot we would gladly return to.
