  Several full service cashier lanes open walked into cashiers were so busy talking. They just pointed at the self-service and said, go there.

  If you shop at this particular location, make sure you've got everything you need in your cart about 10 minutes before closing time because they start turning lights off in the refrigerated sections around that time, making it very difficult to find anything. The employees do not want you in that store 1 minute past 11pm and after making announcements over the intercom will stand up front waiting and watching you to make sure you check your things out quickly and leave. I ran out of time one evening and only needed about 5 more minutes to finish an order I was shopping for someone else, and I was told that I had to vacate, so I had to leave the groceries that were already in the cart in the store. I was told on that occasion that the registers automatically shut down and payments can no longer be taken, which I find hard to believe. I've worked in retail, so I know how frustrating it can be when you want to go home and there are still customers in the store. But I was honestly rushing around to get out as soon as possible and needed just a few more minutes. I'm sure it took them much longer to put my items back on the shelves than it would've taken me to get the ones I still needed and check out. So again, if you go at night, just know that you should have all your groceries in your cart by 10:50pm and then head for the register or you may have the same problems I did.

  Great atmosphere and even better prices! The staff at this location are always welcoming and kind , Steve is doing great as manager on duty I had the pleasure of meeting him today 10/10. This store usually has mild traffic, never too loud which as a neurodivergent individual I enjoy and appreciate. Thank you to the store staff you guys are awesome!

  Best local Food Lion! Excellent customer service and the store is always clean and orderly. The deli and produce departments are particularly good.
