Amazing food, fresh and authentic. They have plenty of familiar staples, but also many harder to find dishes. Everything was delicious, and I only wish we had room for more. Franklin St needs more local family-run businesses like this one, so come give it a try.

So excited we have Burmese food in the Triangle now! We love Burmese food and Road to Myanmar did not disappoint. The coconut noodle soup was the best I've ever had and the tea leaf salad was delicious! If you've never tried fermented tea leaf salad before, it's unique and wonderful! There is nothing like it. The server was very cheerful and the space was welcoming. Can't wait to go back!

We were very excited to try Road to Myanmar, given all the positive reviews. We tried a variety of dishes. The staff were very pleasant, and the food was ready on time. Unfortunately, the food was very disappointing. The worst-tasting dish was the Pad Thai noodles, as the taste was off-putting and the dish lacked quality ingredients. It was so bad that we threw the whole dish in the trash after a few bites. I can't think of the last time we did that from a restaurant. We ordered the fried vegetable dumplings, which were not fried (steamed) and fell apart when we picked them up. The taste was okay. The better dish was the Kimchi Fried Rice with Pork Belly. The Pork Belly was cooked very nicely, but the Kimchi Fried Rice lacked spice. I agree with other reviewers that they need to add much more detail to their online menu to appreciate the different dishes they offer. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

Love this new place on Franklin! Highly recommend the fried rice and green curry but am also excited to try the rest of their menu. Service was excellent, atmosphere was great and you can tell it’s owned by great people who put a lot of care into their food

Super chill atmosphere with a lovely touch of culture! Some of the food took time but it was made to order so it was super fresh, hot, and so comforting. My family and I had their mohingya, fried chicken, and tofu salad. 10/10 would recommend to anyone wanting to try a new Asian cuisine. It is also very authentic to the people familiar with Burmese food. The waitress was also very attentive and sweet :) *edited to add photo
