    Used McDonald’s APP to make a drive-thru order. Waited at the speaker quite long, said hello first and finally the server spoke. I then gave her the 4-digit drive-thru code, saying that I placed an order on my phone and the drive-thru code is XXXX, and then she said “I cannot understand a single word you said”. Is this the kind of language a server would use to a customer? I do have some accent, but for such a simple 4-digit code, I never had such experience in hundreds of drive-thru order I’ve made at other McDonald’s locations. Makes me wonder if this is racism, that the server saw an Asian guy parked at the speaker and she didn’t want to take this order, so she remained silent for a long time and then attacked my accent.
