I couldn’t get her name because she doesnt wear a name tag and never tells her name, however she acts like she own the place and the customers are there she giving free services when you need her assistance and always deny that she never promised anything on the phone when you call Fordham Food Lion. Yes lady I’m talking to you who’s wearing roadside worker vest in the store and yes you are terrible at your work and Probably you have that unacceptable attitude to your coworkers and to your family members. - MPM PNov 16, 20251.0Today I made a quick stop at the Foodlion at Rams Plaza in Chapel Hill (because it was convenient). This is an old and rundown store, so I didn’t expect much. But I never expected to be repeatedly insulted by the cashier (‘Ms. Rita’). She made a series of rude comments to me after I asked her not to grab my drivers license and carry it across the store to have her manager approve it for an alcohol purchase. I offered to carry my license over to the manager myself, or wait until the manager had the time to walk over to our lane. Foodlion…if you do not trust your own cashiers to assess whether someone is 21 or older with a valid drivers license, then do not require your customers to trust that same cashier to carry our drivers licenses across the store and out of sight. Take a que from your competitors, all other grocery chains trust their cashiers with this task. BTW, Ms. Rita topped off her rude performance by refusing to hand me the receipt for my purchase.

I like the prices and convenience, but the odor makes the whole experience really uncomfortable. This location really needs to address the cleanliness or whatever is causing that smell.
