At Craft Public House, the health and well-being of our staff and patrons is our top priority. We've always taken pride in holding ourselves to the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation. Given the current conditions we've upped our game to ensure that every meal is being prepared in accordance with all CDC and FDA guidelines pertaining to COVID-19. We are taking every precaution to ensure that our family and yours remain safe and healthy. We will do everything in our power to continue to provide fresh, scratch-made meals for the CPH faithful! I ordered the Prime Dip and my wife had the Crab cake sandwich. Both of these sandwiches cost over 18.00 each. For that price there is a basic expectation for flavor. For the Prime dip, the only good thing about it was the bread. For the rest, including the au jus, there was an absence of any flavor or seasoning. I don't mean that it just needed some salt, I mean it had no flavor. For a restaurant that boasts in house smoked meat I would expect that the cooks know how to season and add flavor to the food. For $18.50 I am justified in expecting better. My wife had similar comments about her sandwich. There is a real issue when cooks and chefs do not care enough to ensure that the quality of the food meets the expectations and the price. I would bet that none of them even tasted the meat or the au jus. What they served that day needed some real attention to seasoning and flavor. While this was our first visit, it will also be the last. We travel quite a bit and have eaten at many restaurants that have owners and chefs that have real passion for the food they serve, we need more of those in this area. Even the local Panera has a more flavorful "dip" sandwich, and better yet, half the price.
