we gave the hostess our number and she wrote it down wrong. we waited for a while and then when we checked they gave our table away and we're super snotty about it. I understand mistakes happen, but the attitude was really bad. shame.

The menu is what initially brought me to Craft Public House, particularly the salmon (cooked to a perfect Medium); it's the people who keep me coming back.

My wife and I had lunch here this past week. We had some errands to run in the area and decided we would give this place a try. I ordered the Prime Dip and my wife had the Crab cake sandwich. Both of these sandwiches cost over 18.00 each. For that price there is a basic expectation for flavor. For the Prime dip, the only good thing about it was the bread. For the rest, including the au jus, there was an absence of any flavor or seasoning. I don't mean that it just needed some salt, I mean it had no flavor. For a restaurant that boasts in house smoked meat I would expect that the cooks know how to season and add flavor to the food. For $18.50 I am justified in expecting better. My wife had similar comments about her sandwich. There is a real issue when cooks and chefs do not care enough to ensure that the quality of the food meets the expectations and the price. I would bet that none of them even tasted the meat or the au jus. What they served that day needed some real attention to seasoning and flavor. While this was our first visit, it will also be the last. We travel quite a bit and have eaten at many restaurants that have owners and chefs that have real passion for the food they serve, we need more of those in this area. Even the local Panera has a more flavorful "dip" sandwich, and better yet, half the price.

Superb food. Steak wedge was perfect. Drinks were great. Service flawless. Bakery section is in-credible, plan ahead you will be taking home some sweets, including your dog (or neighbors dog). Enjoy!
