I’ve been to Colleta twice, once last year and again this month to give it another chance and both experiences were disappointing. This time I ordered a cheese pizza, prosciutto pizza, lasagna, and tiramisu with ice cream. The food quality was not good. The pizzas were inconsistent, some parts were hard, other parts were soggy, and everything was overly salty. The lasagna was just okay at best. The desserts were the worst part the tiramisu was dry and didn’t taste properly made. Service and overall environment were also concerning. The place felt unprofessional and disorganized. I observed behavior that didn’t seem appropriate for a restaurant setting, including staff vaping near the food prep area. On a previous visit outside the restaurant, I saw a situation involving police and an employee, and on a later visit it appeared that same individual was working on the line again, which raised concerns for me about management and oversight. The bathrooms are very small and not convenient, especially when it’s busy. On top of that, everything is overpriced for the quality you get. The restaurant looks nice, but the actual experience does not match. After giving it two chances, I wouldn’t return or recommend it.

Quick note if you haven't been back recently like us they have just added a bunch to their menu! I cannot say ENOUGH good things about our dinner at Colletta. Even before our reservation, the team there emailed us because we had indicated the reservation was a celebration. They reached out for more information about what we were celebrating which I have never experienced with another restaurant. When we arrived for our reservation, they gave the person we were celebrating a gift in a gift bag that was personalized for the occasion. It was completely above and beyond. In addition to that, the service was excellent. Our server Jeff was wonderful, kind, very thoughtful about one of us needing gluten-free options, and just overall made the experience even better. The food was delicious and the drinks were so fun and unique. Everyone working there was just so kind. Thank you for giving my out of town family the best time visiting!

We visited Coletta a couple of weeks ago to celebrate a friend’s birthday, and it was a lovely experience from start to finish. The staff went above and beyond by surprising her with a thoughtful little gift, which made the evening feel extra special. Our waitress was incredibly attentive, and the service overall was outstanding. We ordered a variety of dishes, and every one of them was a hit. It’s definitely a place we’ll return to for future special occasions.

My experience was a mixed bag; The service was incredible, She was so kind and thoughtful. We were celebrating a birthday and she couldn’t have been more accommodating and professional. The appetizer salads were great. But that’s where Where the positives with the food ended, unfortunately. I really wanted to love the entrées cause they sounded amazing. We got the chicken Parm and the lasagna Bolognese but the chicken Parm tasted like it wasn’t freshly fried and lacked seasoning. The accompanying vodka pasta had a gummy texture. The Lasagna also lack seasoning and would have been improved with more béchamel sauce.

I went here for my birthday a few weeks ago and the food was tasty! I started with the Bitter Italian drink, which was essentially an old fashion. It was good! We got a free sample of the Focaccia because the food was taking a little longer than usual. The bread is good, got a slight crunch to it, flavors were nice. If I’m being completely honest, I wouldn’t ord I went here for my birthday a few weeks ago and the food was tasty! I started with the Bitter Italian drink, which was essentially an old fashion. It was good! We got a free sample of the Focaccia because the food was taking a little longer than usual. The bread is good, got a slight crunch to it, flavors were nice, the honey infused butter though… was insanely good. I could put that on anything. If I’m being completely honest, I wouldn’t order it on my own free will, only because I’m too used to places giving out free bread as a starter and this place doesn’t, I like a little more substance to my appetizer also. Next time I’m there I’ll try something different. For my main course I got the Mafaldine. I usually like meat in my dish, this was a vegetarian dish though. But honestly, the noodle itself is now one of my favorites and all the ingredients just worked so well together, the mushrooms, charred scallions, sunchokes… it was spectacular and it was a very filling dish. Lastly we ended up with a few birthday desserts. We got the Salted Caramel Gelato, which melts in your mouth, the Tiramisu, which usually I am not a fan of, but this place does it in way with the flavors that blew my mind and then we also got the Peanut & Praline Chocolate Tart, which was good, a little heavy but still good. I have only been to a select few Italian restaurants since I moved here. This is in my top 3 for sure. And our server, I believe his name
