I pulled into the drive-thru thinking, “Nice, no line.”
What I didn’t realize was I had just entered the emotional equivalent of the DMV.
I ordered a simple meal. Nothing wild. No secret menu hacks. No “substitute quinoa for fries.” Just regular, basic, “this-should-take-five-minutes” food. The cashier said, “Pull forward.”
Ah yes. The two most dangerous words in fast food.
I pulled forward into what I now call The Waiting Abyss™. Cars came. Cars left. Birds migrated south. I watched a full character arc unfold in my rearview mirror.
At one point I considered applying for a job inside so I could help finish my own order.
By the time the food arrived, I wasn’t hungry anymore. I had reached enlightenment. I understood patience. I forgave my enemies. I considered refinancing my car.
And the best part? The fries were cold. Not warm. Not “cooling off.” These fries had emotionally checked out 15 minutes before I even ordered them.
10/10 for personal growth.
2/10 for food temperature.
Would return only if I need time to reflect on my life choices.

This is the slowest location I’ve ever visited. About 5 people left the line and not a single car moved.
Editing to say that I was in line waiting for my order for a few minutes shy of half an hour. My order was also wrong after all that waiting.

25 min in line. It’s always like this. Literally every time we stop. I guess we are to blame. Foods good. Portions are always different.

Absolutely TERRIBLE! Not only did we have to wait a long period of time while 2 other cars were quickly served and left but to top it off almost every last thing besides the tots were BURNT! it’s one thing to wait due to short staff but to wait and still get poor quality food and paying right at $30…come on now 🙄 highly disappointed!

Told to drive forward they would bring food to vehicle. Did not get all food and had to drive to the order screen and tell them They said it was setting there. Now the is a car in front with the occupants in the car bullshiting with the person at the window. I finally got mad and went in after it. Food was cold.
