- BRbobby raganNov 1, 20252.0Long time customer giving up on subway in Boone. My biggest complaint is if you don’t give the employees a tip added on to the sale complete attitude change. If I got exceptional service, I would possibly give a tip even though I don’t understand why someone needs tipped for doing the job they’re paid hourly to do. If the business is promising you tips because they under pay you it is a joke of a professional run business to start with. Most of the time when I order a sub also at the 421 location I barely get enough lettuce on the sub to cover the meat when you spend $20 for a sub I shouldn’t have to ask for extra and I don’t wanna ask just be friendly and go on with my day.
