  Had the opportunity to visit with a school field trip and I would have to say the food was really good and the service was on point. They had it together with a group as large as we had!

  We had oysters and she crab soup.the oysters were delicious but had pieces of shell in them. We loved the soup. Server was great. I wouldn't have picked it because of the atmosphere but we wanted oysters on the half shell. I spotted the fried pickles and thought they were cookies. I would have loved to try one. We enjoyed our lunch.

  Kitschy phrases, vulgar t-shirts, flashy billboards, all methods of drawing a tourist crowd eager to “get my crabs” at Dirty Dick’s Crab House. Similarly, all smokescreens for an experience that left all of us wanting. The server we had was excellent - we loved his energy, he was funny, quick, and very much the shining star of the experience. On a Thursday night off-season, maybe two tables were seated in the entire place when we arrived at 7pm. In hindsight I wonder if that was a harbinger of doom…in a town with slim choices, I’d imagine the ones worth a visit remain full. Two of our party got Mahi Tacos; both complained of the texture, and both also acknowledged a level of stomach upset not too long after. After the server’s recommendation we also ordered a seafood trinity - shrimp, crab legs, clams. The shrimp was well seasoned, but much of it uncleaned. The clams were bland, and the crab was tasty but (and maybe this is because of the season) a very small portion. The corn, potatoes and most of the side options were bland or unseasoned. At a price point of almost $100, I would have expected far better. The menu states the food is made fresh - but at the speed we received it, and the quality of some of the dishes, there’s a larger chance in my mind that this food tourist trap is using frozen seafood than fresh. Get a bumper sticker or a T-shirt if you want a conversation talking point. Skip the meal.
