  No dishwasher , all manager talked about was how much it would be to get another one . Had to cut my steak with a plastic knife. The window seal in the booth looked as if the last person ate off it crumbs everywhere and hadn’t been wiped down in a while , won’t go back ! Run down.

  The food itself was very good, but the service fell short of what we expected. I’m not sure if the server didn’t have access to certain items or if he was simply overwhelmed, but everyone in our section seemed to be waiting on something throughout the meal. Here are a few examples from our visit: 1. I asked for extra dressing for my salad as it was being placed on the table. It took about 10 minutes to arrive, and I was already halfway through my salad by then. At that same moment, I also mentioned that I would need A1 for my steak. 2. When my steak arrived, I had to ask twice more for the A1 before it finally came. 3. Bread was brought out, and the server mentioned he had grabbed the last loaf and had put more in the oven, promising to bring fresh bread when it was ready. We never received any more. Not a major issue on its own, but it added to the pattern. 4. One person in our party ordered a special that included dessert. We waited about 15 minutes before the server returned to say he had been standing at the window the entire time trying to get the cheesecake. At that point, we told him we didn’t need it to-go and decided to leave. 5. Several times we had to flag someone down for drink refills. Three times our drinks sat completely empty before anyone noticed and we had to say we needed refills 6. The table across from us had to ask for straws and silverware after their first drinks were delivered. 7. Another table nearby repeatedly asked for condiments. I understand it was a Saturday evening, but we arrived before the rush. When we left, there was a wait for tables, so the restaurant was clearly getting busy. Still, it felt like our section—and our table—was not a priority. Overall, we were disappointed with the experience despite enjoying the food.

  Steaks were excellent and sides were very good. Service needs improvement and the workers look unhappy. The hostess was not friendly at all definitely needs replaced with someone more inviting, warm and friendly. We almost walked out to go somewhere else. Food was worth it but the cold unwelcoming atmosphere will keep us from coming back. Side note.. the plates for the bread were not clean. They had a greasy film on them.

  The server was ok, other than the fact that when my steak came it wasn't cooked properly and had to seek out another server. Ordered the sirloin, with a lobster tail add on. The lobster was at best 3 ounces, and rubbery, the steak which I ordered med well, came undercooked. Wife ordered med rare and was cooked more than mine. When I asked to cook a little more it came back completely charred, and extremely bland, no seasoning. The best part of the meal was the mashed potatoes. $125 for 2 people, and highly disappointing. I have only ate at outback steakhouse 4 times in my life, and now I remember why. Definitely work too hard for my money to spend it in a dirty establishment with bland food. Do not recommend it to anyone

  Very disappointed with our dinner from outback tonight. We got seated in a very busy section with only 1 waiter with too many tables. It took him 10 minutes to even ask us what we wanted to drink. We ordered our food when we got our drinks, afraid it would take just as long. Our appetizer was great, our entrees were not. The steak was cooked perfectly BUT holy cow how many seasonings do they put on the steaks now?! On top of that, how the heck do you give a customer a brown ceasar salad and then it be spicy?! We like spices and some spice, but someone went overboard with the seasonings! Afterwards my meal was supposed to come with a dessert. I asked the waiter for it to go. He said sure no problem, I’ll be back. After 20 minutes of waiting, he does not come back and attends other tables. We asked another waiter and he brought it to us with an attitude. For a meal that was over $60 and we tipped pretty nice for the service we were treated rudely. Please do better, Asheville does not have great steak houses and we were very disappointed.
