The sunset was beautiful from the rooftop. Our server had maybe two tables because it was a Monday, yet only checked on us twice, including sweeping away a broken wine glass(tables for two are too small to not clear away so it fell when more stuff was brought out) but never offered to replace the wine. The braised Korean bbq was honestly so sub par and mediocre that I felt bad and didn’t say anything to the manager: It HAD to have been someone’s first try cooking it and I got the short end of the stick. The Brussels on the side were burnt(not charred but burnt) and the sauce on them was sour and bitter and unpleasant. My partner got a smash burger and said it was good, but it didn’t come with anything except cheese on it, maybe Mayo? All in all we paid way too much for this 3-star at best experience and will not return.
I'll dream of the Chilean seabass! a nice break from the cafe wook struggles when in town for Billy. elegant, in both food presentation and physical space. a wonderful choice well worth every dollar.

Wildwood Still is a must-visit in Asheville, and here's why: dramatic, panoramic mountain views; a smoky-delicious Old Fashioned; a long list of great bourbons to sip; excellent attention from our top-notch server Karina, who was helpful but not over-bearing; and of course, delicious offerings, including tasty pork dumplings, a juicy smash burger and a beet appetizer that also delighted. We'll be back!

Lovely dinner at Wildwood Still for a girls night. Atmosphere, food, service, views, everything was fantastic!
Not included in the photos is the Smoked Tea Mars Hill Mushroom dish, which was the absolute star—grilled mushrooms, black tea gel, charred horseradish aioli, puffed rice and Thai basil.
Their menu rotates, so the next change is coming soon (according to our waitress). Do yourself a favor and stop by before the menu changes, then come back again when the new menu is out 😬

Visit on 12/30/26 - This place was awesome. It was located at the Moxy in the heart of Asheville, and had a very contemporarys and relaxing atmosphere.
I beleive our server was named Genaveve or something to that effect. She recommended that I try some Japanese soda water, which was great and a peculiar after taste that I had never experience.
She recommended the lamb, which was amazing, and I dined on the salmon..... I don't drink, but if you are a drinker, this is good place to chill and try some well crafted cocktails. They had an expansive menu.
Also, we had some complimentary dessert, since I couldn't resist telling the staff that it was my girlfriend's birthday despite being told repeatedly before we arrived not to do so and not to draw unwanted attention to her.
In closing, our next trip we will stay at the Moxy so we can come downstairs and eat here and order in room dining from their kitchen.
