This place is amazing! The food is always fresh and full of flavor. They also have great options for vegans and vegetarians, which can be hard to find at some Latin restaurants. Everything I’ve tried has been delicious. The customer service is phenomenal too. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. If you’re looking for authentic Latin food with fresh ingredients and great service, I highly recommend this spot.

La Rumba is absolutely fantastic. They have an extensive, creative vegan menu in addition to their regular menu. I had the best vegan stuffed poblanos I've ever had. Not to mention the guacamole and margaritas! It's family owned and everyone is so friendly, kind and extremely knowledgeable about their menus, as well as allergies. The atmosphere is lovely and comfortable. Prices are great. Plenty of parking. I highly recommend visiting La Rumba!!!

This is an authentic Southern Mexican restaurant in Asheville, North Carolina. The salsa is homemade, not too spicy, which were fresh and flavorful. The cheese dip was so delicious that I poured it over my burrito. Once seated, we were given complimentary street corn, which was a nice touch. The portion sizes are generous, so come hungry. The waitress was friendly and attentive. Overall, a great spot in Asheville if you’re craving authentic Mexican food with excellent service and a warm atmosphere.

We've been numerous times and always enjoy our meal. Tonight, something just seemed off.
We immediately got the street corn, but it lacked any flavor and had about an ounce or o so of water in the bottom of thr bowl. I've never needed to put salt on it before, but tonight that was the only way to give it any flavor.
We started with the jalapeno popper fiesta with chorizo, which we'd had before. Before it came out just as you would expect poppers, pepper cut in half and stuffed with cheese and meat and usually seeded. Tonight, it was a pile of meat and cheese with 4 roasted Jalapenos sliced up the middle. We had to assemble our own poppers.
My wife ordered the mango habanero crema with rice and nopales, which she said was just like always and was good.
I ordered the chile rellenos, which I've had several times and really like, especially the mole. When they arrived, I cut into the first one expecting it to be stuffed with cheese, and described, but it was empty. Basically a battered, fried pepper. The 2nd one was as expected.
When I brought the pepper to the attention of our waitress, Masha I believe, the response was "sorry" with no suggestion of how make it right or anything.
We'll most likely be back, but it won't be at the top of our list like it has been in the past.
