  Maiale pizza was downright inedible. Had it for room service at hotel and was very disappointed in the quality of the pizza. I was charged $21.00 for a salad that they didn’t have and was not refunded for the salad. Subsequently had breakfast there which was pretty good and the only reason I didn’t leave a one star review.

  Go for the carbonara but skip the risotto. We started with the bread plate- nothing special, warm olives- delish. My husband had the braised short rib pizza- it was okay. 2 of my daughters had the risotto - it seems as though somebody forgot to keep stirring - the outside of each grain was overdone and the center not quite done enough, but we are kinda of risotto snobs since we make it ourselves. The ragu was very good, but the best dish by far was the carbonara. The blackened chicken on the carbonara was a bit dry. Our waitress was lovely. Perhaps the worst part of our experience was the host who was quite rude. We showed up maybe 10 minutes before our reservation, the restaurant was by no means crowded but he very curtly made sure to tell us he would seat us at our reservation and not any earlier. He was unpleasant and rather unkempt. Might go back but only for the carbonara...
