    So far, Itto ramen is the best I have found in the Asheville region. Also, got some to go and they thoughtfully pack it and you assemble at home, which keeps the noodles sooooo fresh!

    It was a packed Friday night at peak dinnertime, with every table full and a short wait at the door. A half dozen takeout bags were lined up for pickup, yet despite the rush our order was taken promptly and dinner arrived just as quickly. The Chashu Don came as a generous bowl of warm rice topped with chopped pork in a sweet sauce. A touch on the sweet side, but flavorful and plentiful. Mrs. K. chose the vegetable ramen, which we both enjoyed. The broth was rich and satisfying, paired with gluten-free noodles and plenty of toppings. The house tofu was a bit unusual, but overall the dish was excellent. Service understandably lagged in the busy atmosphere. No one checked back at our table, our drinks went unrefilled, and I had to flag someone down for the check. Small lapses, but they slightly dulled the shine of what was otherwise a wonderful meal.

    Food is absolutely terrible, broth is just water. All the food lacked flavor overall. I would not recommend wasting time or money here. Cocktails are good at least.

    Excellent food and service. I’m not local to Asheville but I come here whenever I am in the area. Crab Rangoons taste fantastic and the ramen broth tastes incredible. You can tell that a high level of effort goes into the food.
