Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
We went through the drive through to get something to eat during our travels only to be sadly disappointed.we ordered to sets of 3 tenders. I have attached a photo of what we received. On top of it being 1 tender and 2 crumbs, they were cold, hard and tasteless. We threw the food in the garbage.

This might be my first and last time at a Whataburger based on this experience. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because the food was pretty good. The first sign I was in trouble was when I asked what size their individual burger patties are on a regular sandwich. Then I said "is it a 1/4lb or 1/2lb?" They had to get someone else to answer me. You sell burgers. Everyone one in that building should know that answer.
When I got to the window I asked for a fork and knife because I got no bun. Good thing I checked the bag before pulling away. There was no plasticware. No napkins! When I opened the bag my entire burger was deconstructed. Not sure why but ok. The mustard had leaked over everything in the bag. So I'm holding 3 containers covered in mustard, plus the burger container still in the bag with no napkins. It took the person at window probably 3 minutes to come back. Instead of offering to take the mess in my hands and fix it they just got my plasticware and 6 napkins.
I'm not sure what the training process is but it's clearly not good.
And I'm sure no one from the company will care about my experience because companies these days are just happy when a warm body shows up to work mostly on time.

I've been here twice now for lunch and both times it was hot, fresh and no waiting. The girl running the drivethrough was very nice. I got the Whataburger meal deal, it was actually a little cheaper than most burger places.

I hate to say it, because we were so excited about Whata burger coming to Archdale..... but three strikes and I'm done. 😞
The last visit, I waited 10 minutes to place an order and another 15 minutes at the drive thru window.... when I thought I was finally getting my food..... they asked me again for my order.
My whole lunch break was spent waiting.
The burger was good.... but after all that (and giving my order twice), I still got the wrong drink. Lol.
Training and management are essential to a quality experience. Money is tight these days, business isn't guaranteed and consumer loyalty must be earned.
