(To prevent the recognition contained within this review going unnoticed I would like to preface this by saying thank you to the young man working the second window on Friday night around 8:05. He did a fantastic job, and provided the only positive experience that I have had from customer service. Somebody get this guy a raise.)
So, I eat at this McDonald's often; I work late. It's not bad, and for a while they we're pretty consistent. I eat here almost three nights a week as there are no other options in Angier for quick service.
I wanted to thank the young man working the second window on Friday evening(my order was placed at 8:03).
This young man told me his name was Israel and I really wanted to take a second to recognize him for doing an outstanding job. Israel is the one of maybe two people that I have gotten good customer service from at this location, though I never go inside. The young lady with glasses who is normally at the second window never says a word. She just hands things over and says bye.
He did a fantastic job despite his coworkers doing almost nothing.
So, over the past two months, I have a problem every single time I come here. I am told to pull up and wait, etc. many times I have sat for more than 10 minutes.
Even after waiting my order is consistently wrong.
Friday evening I placed an order, I almost didn't order the meal as I want because I know that any modification would not be met correctly causing an even longer wait. I made sure to check the food at the third window and to no surprise the food was incorrect. The mod was a very simple two extra patties on a big mac and this happens almost every time, literally.
So, I checked the food at the third window and a knock a few times as I saw two young ladies in that area. Both of which completely ignored me after seeing me intently looking for help. One of them had braided hair that was brown and red if I am not mistaken and the other was a blonde.
To get any service at all I had to hang my head out the window a bit and look around. THANKFULLY Israel noticed me and rushed over from the second window to save the day, he quickly asked what the problem was and got it solved for me. It blows my mind how little that most of these young women care(never had a problem at the first window).
I couldn't go inside as I had my dog with me so I was unable to go inside. Who knows how long I would have had to wait if he wouldn't have came to help despite trying to balance working the second window.
When I got home, the order was correct, but both of my snack wraps were completely covered with sauce and thrown together. Whoever is working the grill is consistently doing a poor job and it's unfortunate. This place used to be consistent with the food at least.
I understand that staffing can be an issue, and situations can be nuanced but as stated I eat here 3 nights a week normally. The order is almost always wrong, or is accompanied by an outlandish wait time and poor customer service.
Once again, I would like to make sure that Israel, working the second window around 8:03 P.M. gets recognition for providing the best service I've had thus far.

Ashley and Alea were very helpful when I had a buy one get one free on my survey receipt. They were very friendly and courteous. They made sure my order was made correctly. They are both excellent employees!

Honestly very rude workers. I normally don't make complaints. I came through the drive through with 2 other friends, placed 2 app orders and wanted to do one through the drive thru. They said no its against policy to do more than 2, which is okay. But when we got to the window, we got told to pull up to the last window. Then the worker at the last window argued with us and said we could only do 1 order. We had to explain multiple times that we placed 1 app order and 1 drive thru, they finally gave us the food. I came inside to get the other order which took 10 minutes and they were being very very nasty towards other customers including my friends. There was a super nice lady who was inside who got her food and they had to remake it too. NO MEAT on her cheeseburger, they just gave her a bun and toppings. Consider new staff or retraining them, cuz this experience was ridiculous
yall need to get it together im sorry, i ordered a online pickup at 10pm and i was going to go inside to pick it up but was told the lobby was closed and i could get it in drive thru. understandable. i go to drive thru and had to wait a hot minute and when i got up to the speaker they said my order wasn’t in the system. so i said can i pull around and show you my order because i did in fact order it and have paid already and the guy said okay. i get up to the window after a while and they give me my food apologizing i said oh it’s okay don’t worry, i noticed i was missing my fries so i said “hey im sorry im missing my fries” the guy tells one of the ladies in the back and she rolled her eyes. i’m sorry but there’s no reason to roll your eyes in front of a customer who wasn’t being rude and i wasn’t trying to be rude about anything i said i was just simply missing an item. she looked me in the eyes and the rolled her eyes, whoever yall got back there needs to do better with customer service because there was no reason for that at all im sorry. i used to work fast food so i understand but that was out of line on the workers part. do better.

I went in on the 16th and I went through the drive thru my change should have been 4.84. The girl working told me they didn’t have enough money to give me all my change and said be blessed. I said no worries thinking it was a couple cents because of the penny shortage. I was driving to the next window and I realized she shorted me $3. I don’t even think the change was .84 but I wasn’t going to fuss over that. I told them at the next window and someone went and got me my $3 that the girl said they didn’t have to give me. They didn’t seem phased that an employee was shorting a customer their change.
