    I visited this Subway location today and had a bit of an uncomfortable experience. While ordering a sweet onion teriyaki chicken bowl, I asked if pickles could be added and was told they could not be. I’ve had no issue adding toppings like this at other locations, so the response — along with being questioned about which shift allowed it — felt unnecessary. At one point I did cough briefly (I have asthma), and the employee stepped back in a way that felt quite avoidant, which made the interaction feel uncomfortable. What stood out, though, was that another staff member quietly put pickles on the side for me without hesitation. I even offered to pay for them, and she kindly said it was okay. I really appreciated that gesture, and it showed there was a simple way the situation could have been handled better from the start. I also appreciated the reassurance from the older staff member that my teriyaki sauce had been added to the bowl. I also noticed staff weren’t wearing name tags at this location, while other Subway locations do. It felt inconsistent to hear strict policy being enforced on food items, but not see the same level of professionalism in other areas. I understand that policies and hygiene matter, but tone, communication, and overall customer service make a big difference. Thank you to the staff member who helped with the pickles — that small act of kindness was appreciated. Hoping for a more welcoming and comfortable experience next time.

    This place is lying on Google about their hours. Drove all the way there and the staff laughed at my trying to be a patron. They are not open for "Dine-In" until 12AM; Which is what Google states. A lie, and a waste of fuel. Lost a customer permanently.

    Last weekend, I placed an order through Uber Eats; however, when I arrived to collect it, the store had already closed early for good Friday. Unfortunately, their Uber system was still active, leaving me unable to cancel the order and without any immediate solution. The following day, I visited the store to explain the situation. The front counter girls were exceptionally polite, kind, and understanding. They listened attentively, showed genuine concern, and spoke with the manager to offer a prompt resolution—either I could request a refund through Uber Eats, or they would remake my order at no extra cost if the refund did not go through.I sincerely appreciate their professionalism and thoughtfulness. Mistakes can happen, but the way they handled it was exemplary. I highly recommend this branch for its friendly, attentive, and customer-focused staff.

    I would like to report a very disappointing experience at your location at 147 Lansdowne Ave, Saint John, NB E2K 2Z9, where we waited in the drive-thru for approximately 30 minutes to place an order, only to be told afterward that many items were not available; this lack of communication and poor service wasted our time and caused frustration, and I strongly recommend improving how stock availability is communicated to customers so others do not face the same issue.

    Very disappointing experience at Subway today. I was asked to wait for around 20 minutes at drive thru and after waiting, I was told that they had no bread or rice left. This is something that should have been communicated upfront instead of wasting customers’ time. Poor service and lack of basic communication. Definitely not a good experience.
