This was the WORST subway I have ever been at like the cheese was not even melted when I toasted it and my cold cut meat was soggy and mushy when I opened it in my car 5 min after ordering

Speed does vary depending on time of day which is expected, or who is working, but overall pretty good regular experiences over the past few years. Keep it up!

Living close by to Tony Ratchfords west side Subway i eat there at least 3 times per week. I've been a fan of Subway since Jack McMaster brought the franchise to Saint John and am a friend of his son Peter who owns 4 Subway stores. Peter speaks very highly of the Tony the west franchise owner as did my older brother who taught him at UNB. Unfortunately last evening the place I was living suffered flood damage causing extensive damage to my belongings. I went to Subway to charge my phone and call Red Cross and 211 about emergency relief options. I had been up all night attempting to keep things from being destroyed by water damage and was hoping to take a minute and focus on mitigating my situation and was on the phone with Red Cross when Gills a Subway employee came an interrupted my phone conversation informing me that if I don't purchase anything I had to leave. It was obvious I was on the phone and informed this non Canadian employee that he was being rude. I say non Canadian not in a racist manner rather thinking its potentially a cultural issue as its definitely not the Canadian and even more so a maritime or Saint John manner of acting. I actually told him it would be ok if he called police and had me removed as I would welcome drawing attention to the way in which he was acting. If I was acting inappropriate or looked unkempt then I could understand but with an empty dining room as well I was appalled by his rudeness. I'm not one of these guys that is going to say ill never eat there again as that would be a lie and I have gotten to know some of the staff and find them excellent. Its only 60 bucks a week I spend there and they would not miss my business but I would miss Subway and staff such as Raymond and Sam whom are both excellent. I will avoid going there during Gills shifts and advise others to beware because he wasn't taught by his parents simple manners. I said to him discretion is the better part of Valor but that went over his head. I'm interested to read the response from the operations manager who Gill tells me administers the rules making sure staff follow them while abandoning discretion or common sense. After the night I had I can't say Fairville Blvd Subway was best represented this am and am left shaking my head thinking what is wrong with people today.
