Tax payers are funding this service model of paying these workers top wages that they could not find in the private sector. Every time I've gone to the cashier, I'm either ignored by staff talking to other staff members like it's a social club or a non existent greeting. Once upon a time customer service used to be valued and you'd be greeted. Not so at this location . Staff are too busy talking amongst each other to greet customers and serve them properly. They just sit on their stools and scan a few items for $26 an hour with little or no customer interaction. Try and go find that kind of job in the private sector. Private sector demands better. Privatize.
