Warm, attentive, and genuinely personable, he greeted us like we were regulars even though it was our first visit to Montana’s on Carson Drive. What really stood out was how knowledgeable Alex was about the menu. He didn’t just recite specials, he actually helped us navigate the choices based on what we were in the mood for, made thoughtful recommendations, and even flagged a sauce substitution for one of our guests with a dietary preference without us even having to ask twice. That kind of attention to detail is rare. Throughout the meal, he checked in at just the right moments, never hovering, never absent. Our drinks were always topped up, the timing between courses was perfect, and when a small mix-up happened with one of our sides, he handled it with a smile and had it corrected within minutes, no fuss. You can tell Alex genuinely cares about the people he’s serving. He brought real energy to the table (no pun intended!) and left us all laughing before the night was over. In a world where great service is getting harder to find, he’s a reminder of what hospitality is supposed to feel like. Montana’s is lucky to have him. We’ll be back, and we’ll absolutely be asking for Alex by name.

Although it was busy, we were seated immediately. The steak and trimmings were tasty! I was mostly impressed with our server "Mike". Because of his experience, personality and great service we will be going back to Montana's.
