Over priced for the food you get, especially after the serve told me "it's the same size as the kids portion', yet double the price - pasta dishes (lunch menu). Gross!!
And when we called to see about space for 6, waited the hour they told us, arrived to a nearly empty resturant.
Easy Side Mario's - not the place to be.
I can make most of your dishes at home more tasty and cheaper.

Well we were there last night.it wasn't very busy...we sat at the bar side. We ordered entrée and got our salad before (i found a black piece of lettuce in my salad). then we got our meal..my boyfriend got his pizza it was ok....i got my penne with bolognais sauce, it was cold and the penne were overcooked...while we were eating there was little flies roming around..kinda disguiting. The service wasnt that good either and it wasn't even busy.Use to be my favorite restaurants but last night was bad!!

I used to love East Side Mario’s until today, I waited 55 mins to be seated. (Told 30 mins) Went to the washroom and counted 17 empty tables. Meanwhile 3 waitresses/hostesses chatting at the front. On top of that restaurant was freezing and I had to wear my coat during lunch.

Visited this place last night for the first time and I decided to go for an all appetizer course! Tried their bruschetta flatbread, some mozzarella sticks and their fritti (basically deep fried spinach dip)
The flatbread was actually pretty tasty - I loved the balance between the acidity of the balsamic, arugula and tomato and the creaminess of the goat’s cheese. It had a good crunch as well so overall tasted very nice.
The mozzarella sticks tasted ok; other than the crust being seasoned with some herbs, they tasted just like the store bought ones. I may have had high expectations for this so could be that too. Also, just a suggestion: please provide enough marinara sauce cause that tiny amount just wasnt enough for all those mozzarella sticks.
The fritti tasted pretty good. A bit too oily but again it’s deep fried so makes sense. The taste of the actual dip tho was good.
I had their violet iced tea lemonade which was only 3.99 and unlimited refills - not only was the color attractive, the drink itself was perfect to cut through all the oils!
Service was great overall - a bit slow at times but still nice!
Overall, it’s a good place to grab some Italian food, just keep an eye on the prices tho cause they might be a bit expensive.
