The two ladies that were working were very pleasant and welcomed everyone that walked in the door. However, while I was eating a young child came running out of the kitchen area without any shoes on and went and sat at a table near me then got up and went running back through the kitchen. Both women at the front tried stopping him and telling him to put shoes on. This made me concerned not only for the safety of the child but also about how this place is managed and what is happening in the back where they are making the food.

That said, my family visits often, and the experience is consistently good. The food is fresh, and the staff are always kind and engaging—they go out of their way to be friendly and make it a fun experience, especially for families. One fun perk is their feedback program—if you rate your visit and show them, they’ll give you a free brownie or cookie, which is always a hit with my child. Since the new manager stepped in, there’s been a noticeable improvement in food quality and a stronger focus on freshness. Overall, while the space could use a refresh, the service, staff, and food quality keep us coming back.

A little boy about 11 was sweeping the floor. We ended up grabbing our food to go and the beans tasted like they had cooked too long. This place used to be a good place to eat but has gone downhill the last couple of months.
