I am horrified at how horribly the cashier treated us tonight. Her name is Debbie and tnis was our experience with her on 10/13/2025 Monday at 9:20 pm.
We over-went our limit on what we could spend and ended up needing to cancel some things on our order. Knowing it was our fault, my boyfriend apologized profusely. The old woman cashier said "Yes I heard you the first time you don't have to keep apologizing. You guys have done this before, I wish you would just let me know beforehand so I dont have to take things off of the order".
Ok? She said it rudely but my boyfriend and I looked at each other and shrugged because sure; we could have told her what our limit was beforehand. Both of us were confused though, because we always use self-checkout but she said "we'd done this before", and I know we haven't. I have seen her at the store before because we go regularly as its close to where we live but we don't usually interact with any staff.
The items we decided to take off the order were 4 alcohol drinks. She looked at my boyfriend and said "you seem impaired to me and I shouldn't sell you alcohol so Im going to cancel the order and re-ring everything without the alcohol". I had had 2 drinks earlier in the day, and he had not drank all day. Also, we had just handed her back the alcohol we were going to purchase so I dont know what she was talking about.
Mind you; my boyfriend is autistic and has anxiety which is why we usually use self-checkout. That being said, he did not ever raise his voice, call her names, and neither did I.
We were both very confused by her rudeness toward us. I told my boyfriend "lets go somewhere else", after she said to him "well I have anxiety too and I dont act like this". Again, I'm very genuinely confused at what we did wrong because he never yelled, never called her names, was apologetic for the inconvenience of having to remove things from the order, apologized for awkward fidgeting due to his conditions, and I was quietly bagging groceries while listening to their interaction.
As we we were leaving, she said "thats probably for the best".
We are genuinely very confused why she treated us so rudely; it was very uncalled for. This was the worst interaction ive had with a cashier that I've ever had at any store.

This place is okay but needs updating and their pricing structure is annoying: 1 for 5.69 or 3 for 5.99. Walmart would sell it for 1.88.
