This Albertsons does a really nice job with their drive up and go option. They are organized and come out promptly which isn't usually the case with the one on 23rd st.

This was posted on FB by Mariah Buckman. “I just wanted to warn any who is disabled or chronically ill and you don’t look like it Bozeman Albertsons employee went off on me for using a riding cart. I have multiple health conditions however I don’t look like I’ve had 21 surgeries in the last 5 years. I had an employee state “ you are not allowed to use that” (he saw me stand to grab something from the shelf and I was also with my new caregiver) I stated excuse me? He said,” you can stand so you don’t need that” my caregiver also pointed out I had my walking stick inside the cart. This was infront of 10-15 customers around me. I turned to him and pulled my pant leg up to show him I am missing 1/3 of my leg and proceeded to state, “ I’ve had 21 surgeries since 2020. I have multiple health conditions that limit me from walking long distances. Yes I can stand and yes I can walk into a store. I also have a permanent handicap license plate. So just because I don’t look sick or disabled doesn’t mean I am not. It’s called invisible illness for a reason.” Community out there please stop judging people because they look “healthy” because most of us humans have more going on than what can be seen. It could be mental, emotional, or physical. Like people say don’t judge a book by its cover. One of the customers who witnessed this also gave me her number and name to report him. After she did so we stood in the middle of Albertsons and prayed. Here is a picture of Devon the employee that went off on me for using the driving cart while with my caregiver.” You might want to investigate Devon’s behavior.

I have invisible illnesses and and physical disabled from a horrific car accident. I walk into stores with my walking stick and use the riding carts to help me get around the store. I had and employee at 5:59 pm tonight aggressively state that I am not allowed on this due the fact I stood up to grab something and sat right down. His name is Devon. Needless to say Devon did this infront of about 10-15 people which then I have to show him my leg that has had 12 surgeries for him to believe me along with state that I have a permanent handicap license plate and I will be talking to the managers about this. This man didn’t even pay attention to the fact I had my caregiver with me as well as my walking stick inside the cart. I have POTS along with multiple other conditions that you can’t see and for him to judge me just because I could stand up and grab something is messed up. Other people who use these devices have to also stand up and get their things. For me to be judged because I am young is horrifying.
