Typical Arby's, but service was slow. Arrived about 11:15 am and the drive thru was already backed up.
We commented on that to one another and then we went inside. It wasn't backed up due to heavy attendance, it was backed up by slow service.
The front counter "hostess" could basically only do one order at a time. Take one order, try to put an order together to bring out, call for the customer and stand there holding their meal, waiting for them to come collect it. The inside line was backing up, the drive thru line grew, and the "hostess" walked with lead feet, no urgency whatsoever. Just like it was, "hoe hum, what do I do next". Oh yeah, I need 3 cups for my last order. Ok, here we go, let me trudge back to the counter to get 3 cups. Look at the line, walk to the register and slowly take another order.
No real comprehension. My wife and I each ordered a "sandwich only" and a drink. "Do you want fries?" No, just the sandwich. "Do you want to make it a meal?" No! Sandwich only!!... For both of our orders! No ears to hear with apparently, she was just there going thru the motions. Inside customers clearly frustrated, several left without ordering.
Need a manager and staff with a little bit of energy. No one behind the counter seemed to have an energy level above a 2.
We were just passing thru, but if I lived in the area, I would probably avoid this location when I considered my next lunch stop. Sorry.
