Correct me if I’m wrong, but the grocery store is about hospitality and customer service?? This location, I can’t comment on any other Albertson’s locations in town because I do not go to those, But this one, they will make sure that you are a burden to them. Some training would go along way with teaching their staff that people spending thousands of dollars a week in their establishment would at least warrant a smile and I thank you on the way out the door. In my experience, if I had employees that We’re treating customers with such distain, there would be some training going on there. Do better Albertsons. I know the hiring pool is pretty sad these days, but do some work to train the staff that customer service goes a long way.

I’m not a review person, however, after frequenting this Albertsons location over the last year, due to working closer to that grocery store. My experience as far as employee interaction has been sad to say the least. My question is would it kill an employee to smile at someone and act like they care that you are purchasing from them?? I’m in the hospitality industry and can’t understand why not ONE employee will even smile or thank someone or act like we as a customer aren’t the biggest inconvenience to their day for a year! This isn’t a one time or one employee thing either. ITS EVERY TIME I GO. I smile and say thanks after leaving the self checkout and they won’t even acknowledge you. It’s honestly kind of shocking. The only person that has been remotely kind was a younger kid picking up the carts and he smiled and said thank you. ONCE in a year??? Cmon yall, I know hospitality is a dying thing. Would it kill the management to teach the staff how to smile and thank the people spending 1000s of dollars there? I actually have another story regarding this establishment, but that I’m not gonna share right now, but I hope this reaches the right people and they may look into a training.

This is nothing against the store itself, but rather, an expression of my extreme disappointment in a change made by the company. Specially the Asian food in the deli. No. Wait. Calling this stuff food is an insult to food everywhere. How best to describe the new General Tso's chicken? Have you ever coughed up a large loogie and been forced to hold it in your mouth until you can get to a place you can spit it out? Yeah, it's a lot like that but with more black pepper than there needs to be. I stopped in on my way to work and figured I would treat myself today and went over to the deli. I had to ask about what I was looking at. It looked like fried chicken bits, but it was covered in what I can only describe as rust colored jello. The clerk told me there was a new company providing the Asian dishes. And based on what I tried to eat today, I would say find someone else. I have had better Asian food in a land locked Army chow hall. The breading is like a water logged sponge, and the sauce is like someone was given a general description of what it should be and then left alone with gelatin, corn starch, and a longing to clock out on a Friday evening. And good luck finding any actual chicken in the wads of breeding. Oh, they are there, but they are tiny. And don't even get me started on the lo mein noodles. They looked about as appetizing as a bowl of worms. Hard pass on those. Seriously, Albertsons... you were always the go-to for slightly higher quality than the other stores. You're slipping. The photo included? Yeah... view at your own risk.
