We were told this was a "fancy" steakhouse, by the front desk. So, we dressed up! We made a reservation, and get there and only a few tables were occupied and no wait. So, a reservation wasn't necessary. We get seated, and there are people wearing sweat pants! So, not THAT fancy.
The waitress was SUPER SWEET!!
However, the whole rigamaroo they do when dressing your baked potato tableside is strange and unhygienic, to say the very least.
We were served our steaks and our other sides and then without wearing gloves, they cut the potato open and scoop in whichever toppings you want. That was so disgusting to me.
I understand it's "part of the experience". But, I don't want someone else touching all over my food.
The mac and cheese was so greasy and tasted like biting into a head of garlic.
Hubby loved the brussel sprouts. He also ordered the dry aged ribeye and loved it.
I got the New York strip, it had a good flavor; but was overcooked and pretty dry.
The restaurant definitely needs to replace the furniture. The chairs look like they came from a hospital in the 1990s. Very old and worn out.
This is absolutely way overpriced. $200 for two people?? No appetizers and no alcohol!!!
This was definitely a "one-and-done".

My husband and I booked us a stay at the Hollywood Casino for a weekend getaway and I reserved us a table at the Fairbanks Steakhouse. I didn't know it was all you can eat crab legs until after I confirmed the reservation, which made me even more excited as we were seafood lovers. The hostess greeted us warmly and we were seated right away. The waitress was very kind and welcoming as she serviced us. The food was cooked to perfection and the lemonade I had was absolutely thirst quenching. The potatoes that came with the crab legs were so moist and good! We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and for sure will be coming back again.
