Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

From the moment she took our order, she was incredibly sweet, welcoming, and attentive. She checked on us throughout our visit to make sure everything was perfect, always with great timing and an upbeat attitude. Her personality really stood out—she’s funny, warm, and so enjoyable to interact with. She made the whole visit feel comfortable and genuinely pleasant. On top of that, the restaurant itself was very clean, which we really appreciated. It added to the overall great atmosphere. The food was also really good—fresh, flavorful, and served just the way we ordered it. Between the great service, clean environment, and delicious food, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. If you’re hungry, be sure to eat here! She truly made our visit exceptional, and we’ll definitely be back because of her!
