  Every time I order it’s always excellence. Everyone is smiling, helping and supporting. Not once my experience has been dull. I always recommend my family, friends and co-workers! The app definitely is a plus’s and order ahead and earn points!

  I went in with a girlfriend to catch up on life for lunch I ended up getting the Philly half sandwich half soup and the lobster bisque. The very first thing that happened was I asked the lady who was ringing my order up if they had pimento cheese for a side she pointed over to the to go station and said yes they have them in small containers I said OK thank you, when I sat down to eat my meal the lady that brought out the food was really nice however as I’m looking at it the lady who rang my food up put pimento cheese all over my sandwich first of all that’s not what I asked for then second the roast beef was sour I took one bite out of the sandwich and put it right back on the plate before we left I went up with my plate and bowl of soup and I asked the lady for a bowl to go and I did tell her that the roast beef was sour you would think they would offer to do a refund or anything at least refund the sandwich and I would pay for the bowl of soup but no I just spent $15 on a bowl of soup absolutely ridiculous I will never eat here again!

  My only complaint was my salad ($10 Greek Salad) was significantly smaller and not as fresh as usual. The salads (excluding side salads) have always been served in large black/red plastic bowls since I started going to Newk's, but this time it was served in a smaller white glass cereal bowl. Also, the ingredients were not particularly fresh (i.e. some soggy lettuce, artichoke hearts, etc.)

  I always try to find a positive even with a bad experience in a restaurant. But this time I just cannot. I came to Newk's Saturday, Oct 11 because I was in town for a friend's funeral. Service was quick when we ordered. I order the Chicken Bacon Club with no tomatoes. Sandwiche came out with tomatoes on it, I let the food runner know I requested no tomatoes. She said no problem and took it back. 2 minutes later she returned with the same sandwich and someone literally removed the tomatoes and sent it back to me. There was pieces of tomatoes all over the lettuce so it was obviously the same. I cannot eat tomatoes or any part so this was unacceptable. I walked the sandwich back to the area where the food runner gets trays ready, showed her the tomato pieces and asked for a different/remake. I walked away knowing I probably was gonna get duped again, and sure enough after about 7 minutes the food runner brought me a sandwich. It had new lettuce, but there was still remnants of tomato on the bread. At this point I just tore off that piece of the bread and just ate due to not wanting to be late for the funeral. Definitely am done with this location and luckily it is not local for me.
