Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- JDJ D1 day ago3.0I have to start with this, I love Whataburger, Always have, always will. However, this is the second time I have had whataburger in Mississippi, (2 different locations). I normally have the advantage of scratching that itch from lafeyette into Texas, and I have come to the conclusion that not all whataburgers are created equal. Don't get me wrong MS, it wasn't horrible, but it wasn't what i normally enjoy elsewhere. Although, your service was on point, the burger was off. I live in south east louisiana and my wife and I agree that for whatever reason the further west you go, the better Whataburger gets.

When they are a miss, the fries and burgers can be cold and soggy. The wait time is very long and this could be a reason as to why the food is cold when received. Overall, Whataburger can do better with managing wait times so that the food is always hot and desirable and when ordered, make sure thr fries actually have no salt.
