  I recently visited Outback Steakhouse in Flowood, MS, and while the overall experience was okay, there were a few things that fell short. The steak itself was cooked to the right temperature, but it was extremely salty—so much so that it overpowered the flavor of the meat. It made it difficult to really enjoy what should have been the highlight of the meal. The salad was another disappointment. It tasted like it was made with bottled Caesar dressing rather than something freshly prepared, which gave it a generic, store-bought flavor. For a restaurant like Outback, I expected a bit more quality and attention to detail. The service was decent, but the food issues made the visit just average overall.

  At Outback in Flowood ms our Service was outstanding . Coralettia was our waitress and she was amazing and took good care of us . Food was great and we will go again . Thanks

  Everything was delicious. Our server Rondy was great. Another lady server was attentive to us as well although she was not our server. We will be back. We always enjoy everything when we come.

  It was lovely. The service was amazing, and a man named Icarus helped us. He was very sweet and helpful, and was making jokes with us; and making us have just a wonderful time. Would definitely come back again!!

  After church on Easter Sunday, I decided to go to Outback, expecting a long wait. Surprisingly, the parking lot wasn’t crowded, and I found a spot easily. The wait to be seated was posted as 20 minutes, and I was seated in about 15, which was a good start. My waitress arrived within 5 minutes, and I was pleasantly surprised by the prompt attention. However, the experience quickly went downhill. There were no clean glasses available for drinks, so I was given a styrofoam cup, no problem, I could handle that. Keep in mind, the restaurant was not busy, which made the following issues more frustrating. I waited over an hour for my meal. The waitress explained the kitchen was backed up and that my vegetables were ready but my chops were still being prepared. I was patient, but the long wait was disappointing. When my meal finally arrived, the vegetables were only half-cooked, and the pork chops were cold. The waitress apologized, which I appreciated, but this was clearly a kitchen issue. I requested the check and asked to speak with the manager to understand why the wait was so long and why my food was not properly cooked. The manager, David, explained that they had lost 15 checks and could not fully explain what happened. Outback used to have top-tier service and exceptional food, but lately, it has become mediocre at best. If the restaurant had been busy, I could understand, but it wasn’t. Proactively addressing the situation with the manager coming out would have demonstrated true customer service, but this only happened after I asked. Outback, you need to return to quality, customer-focused service.
