Let just say I feel as dumb writing this, as I did with my expeirence at this sonic, here we go. The drive thru had one other car and the resturaunt was pretty much empty, so the resturaunt was far from any kind of "busy". After the drive thru forgot a simple cheese sauce for my order, that was asked for and even up-charged for. Going inside, was no longer an option. If standing at the counter for about 5 minutes wasn't enough, the employees just continued their day, with no acknolegdement of a customer presence and didn't seem to care. A staff memeber finally asked what was needed. When informed the cheese sauce was accidently forgotten in the drive thru, it was suddenly met with a snark remark of "We usually charge for the cheese sauce but I'll give it to you this time", like he was doing me a favor? What favor? to charge me for an item I already paid for and you forgot? This is such a silly and little thing, because I didnt care about the cheese up-charge. I used the drive thru on the simple fact, I did not want to go inside. Did customer service just go down the toliet? That comment was just astounding, because if cheese sauce is so important they could of simply pulled the last order and seen what was on the reciept. (attached below), or simply ensured the order was correct before releasing it, and this problem wouldn't exist. The food was hot and decent, but this is a perfect example of how bad customer service, can make someone a former customer, real fast; even with good food. I will not be going to this sonic again. Attatched shows the reciept with the time stamp, if you dont know, that is the reciept printed so employees know what items go in the bag and to help ensure items are not forgotten.
The food only got a low star count simply because this experience left a bad taste in my mouth.
