Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- JBJohn Bourn2 days ago4.0This is a great place to eat BUT you have to actually talk to someone to order food. No self-service computer here. If the order is messed up you don't have to feel like the staff is hiding in the back from you. The burgers are pretty good too.
- TMTee Monigan6 days ago1.0I had placed my order a little before 9 PM on April 25 and I had placed for curbside pickup because of a sick child and so it was supposed to be ready a little before 9:10. Thirty minutes roll by and still no order. Forty minutes later and still no order. Over forty five minutes and STILL NO ORDER. It’s 9:50 at this point and I had to go in and pick up the order. I had a sick child with me and that was the reason for the curbside. I don’t like leaving children alone nowhere. They are normally not bad but tonight they were definitely off. Burgers were soggy I’m guessing because they were just sitting in there. And there were a few people just standing around like there was nothing to do. If things like this continue you WILL lose customers.

Once the order was place it took around 30-40 mins to receive my order. Opened my burgers were cold. Called the manager, she was amazing, and understanding. She offered a full refund with fresh food. Went back waited another 15 minutes 😒 to get back to the car and the burgers were not fresh they were colder than the first one. I'm not sure if the staff understands the difference between a freshly made burger with a burger made and place in the warmer. The whole experience was over an hour long with food that got tossed. Its very unfortunate, I will never visit a Whataburger again.
