Natalie is so awesome. She is so attentive to everyone's needs. I can't say enough about her. Wish all the servers could learn a lesson from her. The only thing that I wish was better is the host stand. We stood at the front for a bit while the hostesses were in the bar area talking with a coworker at the table instead of standing at the host stand. That is the only thing I have negative to say.

We went early so no crowd. There was 8 of us. 5 adults and 3 children. They act like it was a big deal to seat us. We barely sat down and we were rushed to give our drink order and appetizers. We didnt get our bread. Waitress instead of handing me my straw, threw it at me. Took my daughter inlaws fries aways as she was still eating them. Our steaks were not cooked like we like. My sons was still mooing, mine could have been. Our drinks were watered down. Waitress was very touchy. I ordered steamed shrimp and only got 4 wow. We will never go back. Very disappointed. We could understand things happen if they were very busy.

April was our server, I'm at a total loss for kind words. The lack of unprofessionalism is unspeakable.. Maybe it was the constant apologies for staying away or the apologies for getting the salad after the meal. Or the apologies for flipping the food off one plate onto another or the apologies for forgetting the onion and mushroom gravy. And then try to make up for it, by giving us a slice of cheesecake for 3 adults to share. This is my second visit and had a good experience before, it was unfortunate on my friends birthday it turned out so disappointing. Well, our food was good. I didn't eat the cheesecake. I had to come back and add this, about four and a half hours later, I got really sick everything from sharp to abdominal pains, I'll leave out the rest. By the way, we watched this awesome redhead server give excellent service to her patrons.

Me and my fella were on vacation here, and at a recommendation of someone who has been numerous times, we decided to try it as a good steak dinner on our last night. We had such high hopes, but unfortunately, it was a less than enjoyable experience from start to finish. When we arrived, we stood in front of the host for a good minute. Literally, maybe a foot from her, before she looked away from her phone to acknowledge us. It was a Monday night at 8pm. We were told there was a 25 minute wait, when there were 4 people waiting and 75% of the restaurant was unseated...tables and bar. So we decided to leave and try to find someplace else. After driving around and googling options, we decided to call back and just make a reservation for 830. We return. There is maybe 10 customers. Took 5 minutes for someone to come to the host stand. Then she had to leave and go check if any tables were clean for us to sit at. She finds one, not sure it was cleaned. No silverware, no drink menu, we wiped it down with the napkin off silverware from the next table. And proceeded to grab our own silverware. Takes another 5 minutes for someone to come greet us. And being a server/bartender im pretty lenient, but this woman walks up, no introduction and says "what do you want to drink?" We had plenty of time to look at the menu, so we order at the same time. She asks if I want soup or salad. Well sweetheart, knowing the soup would really help to make my choice. My fella got the chicken tortilla, I got the potato. He ate mine, didnt touch his. He ordered the fried mozzarella as an app. No complaints there, except it came like 2 minutes before our meal. He enjoyed the bread too. Now to main meals. I ordered the filet with broccoli. I did order it medium well, but I didnt order it charbroiled and extra well. I did choose to have it butterfly cut. I have never had a more dry piece of meat in my life. Yes I know medium well, is more on the done side, but I had one little piece of slight pink. It was so flat, and so incredibly dry. Zero flavor except the burnt. Now broccoli. I have never even had dry broccoli in my life, even straight off the plant. Well, I did tonight. I had to take a swig of water, just to be able to get the one bite I took of each, down. Was super disappointed. My boyfriend ordered the urban cowboy. Zero complaints on the shrimp. His steak was cooked to a perfect medium, but there was absolutely no flavor. You shouldn't have to salt and pepper a steak. And in the time that I wasn't eating, and he was unwillingly eating his because he eats everything, never once were we checked on. When he was finished, she finally came over and asked how everything was, asked if I wanted a box. I politely said no, because not only are we traveling, but it was also not very good. She was apologetic, offered for it to be remade, but why? So that I could get the same thing, and have to go through the experience again? No thanks. Having a drink or some sort of compensation would have been appreciated, but to no avail. I do wish I would have saved my leftovers for the sweet stray cats I found in the parking area when leaving though. But then again, not sure i would want to subject them to the same disappointment. Steak-n-shake's steak burger puts this place to shame. Sorry. 🤷‍♀️
