- CMCharles MyersFeb 27, 20262.0The current Yelp review is more accurate (February 2026) 1.7 star review rating is correct. I worked at McDonalds 43 years ago when I was 18. This type of food would have cost me my job or transferred me to washing dishes. The meat patties were overcooked and tough. The bread a little stale and stiff. The sandwiches were assembled haphazard and lopsided. Barely any sauce or lettuce on the Big Mac. My wife and I just wanted a little nostalgia. I took time to make her a true McDonalds double cheeseburger in my kitchen.

Waited 15 minutes on our food as other people were just going through the drive thru not having to wait. When we finally got food, it was cold and the sausage was not done. Horrible and will not be back!

They brought me the sandwich with bacon and I said I don’t eat bacon they went back and forth and all they did was grabbing the bacon out of that sandwich rather than making a new one and when I came inside to explain the situation that I only eat kosher food they asked me the most dumb question they asked me whether I can read english or not and if I can pronounce deluxe.
