We visited this place with family ordered vegetarian, non-vegetarian appetizers, to much of our surprise everything was BLAND. We then ordered chilly naan and non- vegetarian curry, chilly naan was very spicy something which no one can eat, even non- vegetarian curry was BLAND. I’m surprised by seeing such a reviews not sure if they are real. NEED TO IMPROVE A LOT

The food was excellent. Had butter chicken, chicken korma, Punjabi samosas and butter naan. If you are not a fan of vey spicy dishes, simply ask the server for very little or none at all. Some dishes will always have just a little bit of spicy hot to them.

I know there aren’t many Indian spots in far west county, but you really should spend your money elsewhere. I ordered the “Zafroni Mutton Dum Biryani” for $21.58 via DoorDash (before delivery and fees, that’s just the price of the dish alone) and the mutton was like 85% bones. So I effectively had spent $21.58 on rice….with bones in it. Talk about feeling “dum”… what a rip-off.

Excellent Indian food — everything we tried was genuinely impressive. The Lamb Mughlai was the standout: super tender pieces of lamb in a rich, mildly spiced sauce that felt comforting without being heavy. Easily one of the best lamb dishes I’ve had locally. The Chicken Tikka Masala was another hit — creamy, balanced, and perfect with their naan. Don’t skip the butter naan or garlic naan; both were warm, soft, and perfectly blistered. We also started with the onion samosas, which were crispy, flavorful, and not greasy. To finish, we had the kulfi — absolutely delicious. My daughter ate it before I could even take a photo, which says everything. Friendly service, clean and welcoming space, and everything tasted freshly made. We’ll definitely be back.

I have had food from Chulah 3 times so far. Their Chicken Chettinadu is delish!. I remember getting the same dish from another restaurant here before which was more expensive and it was more like chicken tikka masala, lol! Tried their Goat Fry biryani which was yummy and Golkonda chicken dum biryani which was a bit too spicy for me but tasted good. The guy who waited us was nice enough to give me extra raita. Chulah's food is great and prices are reasonable. Wildwood was severely lacking a good reliable Indian restaurant and I genuinely wish them the best and hope that they become a huge success here.
