  We got mediocre service and mediocre food. We wanted to sit outside, but couldn’t because it was full - although it cleared out in about 10 minutes. The service was probably slow because we were forgotten about in the back room. We waited an ungodly long time for our food which was two burgers and fries. The burgers were small for the price of $15. They resembled grilled at home burgers versus takeout burgers. It was nice and quiet in the back, but that’s the only upside. We used to love The Landing, but it hasn’t hit the same for awhile.

  Melissa our waitress was awesome. She was very sweet and had amazing service. Food and drinks came out quick and the food was hot. Total recommend this place.

  If you're heading down to the riverfront in Washington, you’ve gotta stop by Marquart’s Landing. It’s got that great old-school building vibe, and sitting out by the tracks watching the trains go by never gets old. The Food The Patty Melt: This is the star of the show. They use meat from Williams Bros, so you know it’s fresh. It’s exactly what a patty melt should be: greasy in the best way, tons of onions, and that rye bread is perfectly grilled. Chicken Strips: These were solid. They’re nice and crunchy, not those tiny frozen-tasting ones you get at some places. Definitely a safe bet if you're not in the mood for a burger. The Vibe It’s always a good time here. The staff is friendly, the beer is cold, and the view of the Missouri River is the best in town. It’s just a comfortable, local spot that hits the spot every time. Bottom Line: Great food, local meat, and a killer view. We'll definitely be back.

  We wanted a late night snack after a long day and decided to order nachos. The waitress brought out a large plate of the nachos with salsa and sour cream. The portion size was great. However, the nachos were not good at all! The "cheese sauce" tasted like melted action figures, while the salsa was absolutely nasty and not fresh made. We told the waitress the nachos were gross and asked if we could swap out the nachos for the mozzarella bites. It took forever for the food to arrive. The mozzarella bites were good, but the ranch dressing my husband wanted to dip them in was obviously the cheapest, least fresh condiment we have ever tried. The waitress did not offer to reduce the bill for the nasty nachos experience, so we left the restaurant paying full price for a bad experience. I will not return to this restaurant.

  Can't really review the food. We were never waited on or acknowledge. We were there at 3:40 pm. Hostess brought us menus and told us the server would be out in a couple of minutes. Our table was a high top in the middle of the courtyard Two servers taking care of the courtyard passed us multiple times each. Never talked to us. We got up to leave 14 minutes later. We told the hostess on the way out. She apologized but there was no attempt to rectify the situation but I don't know if she knew what to do besides apologize for the lack of service. I know we could have flagged a server down but we shouldn't have to get someones attention. That's not service.
