We decided to go there for dinner at 6:30 on a Friday evening. It was a huge mistake. There was a sign on the door that said they were low on staff so you had to order everything from a kiosk. We thought maybe they were getting ready to close because the entire area where you get your drinks they were transferring drinks into these big buckets so you couldn’t even get to the area. They were pouring the tea and lemonade containers into big containers I guess to save them. Everything looked dirty and messy. It was just disgusting and should not have been done while the store was open. So we ask if they were getting ready to close and they said they did not even close until 9 o’clock. So I’m not sure why they were doing all that with people in the store but OK. We both ordered the half a sandwich and soup. They were out of bread bowls, which we wanted they were out of asiago bagels, which we had also wanted, but OK. When we got our food that was pretty much when we decided we would never return to Panera. I ordered a turkey bacon bravo with black bean soup. He ordered the chicken pesto sandwich with French onion soup. The turkey bacon bravo sandwich was horrible. As you can see from the photos that is the amount of bacon that comes on a turkey bacon bravo. The black bean soup was a joke. There were no beans in it whatsoever. It was broth. The french onion soup had no cheese over the top as it should. Both of the sandwiches were just thrown together with barely any sauce on them. It was ridiculous. If we had gotten it for free, it would’ve still been ridiculous but the fact we paid $25 was just messed up. The only redeeming quality of the entire visit is the one girl cleaning up behind the counter that was very nice. Without a doubt, we will never return to the store again but in an all honesty probably never go to another Panera. Which really sucks because we like Panera, but this is the third time we’ve gone to a Panera in the past few months and each time it was bad but this visit was the end for us.

Checking out and ordering the food was fine and all. The one star is from then on. Two chicken ceaser salads with one bag of chips and one baguette with butter took about 25 minutes to show up on the counter. The name that was provided for the order was not called. I was watching from a table. They just plopped it down and said nothing. Then I went to go get it. Sat down. Pick up my chips to open them and the bag is empty. Didn't even have to open them to know that. I go back for an exchange. That nice woman actually apologized...you'll see why I say this in a sec. And I appreciate her for that. I go back to the table. My guest says they do not have butter and both mine and my guest's salads did not have any chicken in them either. I go back, show my receipt and ask for chicken. The man, who was dressed in business like attire (so assuming the manager) grabbed my plates, went and got the chicken to put on the salads, and plops the plates back down. I say, "Thank you." He says, "UhHuh." And walks away. No apology. Nothing. Then the whole time we were eating my guest was worried the plates from the over-pile of the trash bin behind where I was sitting were going to fall on me. Non of the plates and bowls were cleared or removed the whole time we were there. About an hour and a half. The food was good, but the service and atmosphere was horrible.

For well over a year, this was my favorite Panera in the area. Several managers have left and it is now, almost always a bad experience. Today was the worst. Thinking about trying another location, however, the quality of the bagels has deteriorated. May be looking for a new breakfast place completely.
