I would normally have a hard time going to 5-stars for an order at the counter burger place but the service put this one into that range. We stopped by for lunch on a Saturday. The place was about half-full and we didn't have to wait to place our order. We wound up with double burgers for Charleen S and Lizzy S while I ordered a kid's meal so that i could try their wings as well. There was an Oreo cookie shake on our ticket too. The shake was the first item up (appreciated them asking) and everyone got a taste, much to someone's dismay. The young lady working the counter must have seen us pirate the kid's shake because she appeared back tableside with a small sample cup for each of us. Delicious shake! I ordered a kid's meal so my platter included a 2oz burger, 3 wings (I chose "hot" for my flavor), a small order of their hand-cut fries and a small fountain drink. My thoughts: Burger: small but mighty! Their kid's burger is 1/2 of the amount of meat they put on a single so it's a 2 oz portion. They smash it flat on the grill to get a hard sear on it and the slight crispiness hit the spot. Well-seasoned and served on a toasted soft bun. It was exactly what I was hoping for when I chose this place for lunch. Fries: hand-cut and fried to the point where some are crispy and others carry more of the potato texture. Nicely salted and served piping hot. Wings: perfectly serviceable but nothing extraordinary. I liked that they offered me bleu cheese and/or ranch dressing on the side. Based on how much I enjoyed my food, and my desire to try more of their menu, I would be willing to bet that I am back for another visit sooner rather than later.

Gabrielle came over and checked on us and asked my daughter if her Oreo shake was good; she was super nice. Even the cooks had a smile on their face.
