To start with the positive, the service was amazing! Staff was friendly and informative with our questions. The truffle fries were amazing as well as the baked Mac and cheese and the Parker rolls. The bad was the filet mignon that my wife ordered had a sauce on it that tasted like it came from a frozen Salsbury steak from Walmart and the beef Wellington I ordered was bland and flavorless. I don’t know if the kitchen was afraid of seasoning but there was non that could be tasted. Even though we did enjoy our visit to this beautiful restaurant we were highly disappointed in these 2 entrees.

I'd like to start out by saying. I have been following Gorton Ramsey for several years. And have always wanted to eat at 1 of his restaurants over this past weekend. For the St. Louis Cardinals opener I was able to go to Ramsey's kitchen in St. Louis Missouri while I was on vacation. I have to say I was very disappointed. I ordered the fish and chips. First of all, it was just a huge piece of fish that was way too big. I thought it should have been a couple pieces and stood just one big piece of fish that was sitting on these humongous fries that were way too big after tasting it. It was blend. It had no flavor to it. I'm used to more of a vinegar. Salty flavor when I eat fish and chips, I didn't find that in this dish. Secondly, I order a Corona to go with my fair fish. And I ordered it with the glass. The glass smelled like marijuana.I was given another beer but I asked for it to be in a bottle and not the glass. And fear that the glasses had not been washed properly, which also tells me were the other dishes properly.Washed by it, being a gordon ramsey restaurant.I was just expecting more perfection and I didn't find that.I'm thinking maybe he should spend less time criticizing other restaurants and focus more on his own restaurants

We arrived in a limo about 1 hour before out reservation. We went in and I ordered a whistle pig drink. It never showed up so I asked the waitresses again. And he said th 15 year old was 150.00 a shot. I just told him that was high i just ate there. 3 weeks ago. So he sent his manager back and wouldn’t serve me. I look drunk. lol. I said i just had a beer in the casino and that was it. So I just got up and left. I had a multi million dollar customer there I was trying to get his account. They made me look like crap just for asking the price. So I forward that over to my attorney for review to see how much money they are going to make me lose. I hardly ever drink beer unless I go to the casino I just put 5000.00 in their slot machine. So I will keep you updated.

Ramsay’s Kitchen in St. Louis delivers a strong overall experience. The presentation is impressive, and the service stands out—multiple staff members attend to your table, making the experience feel elevated. The rooftop seating is also a great touch, offering a nice view and adding to the ambiance.
There’s been a lot of debate about the Beef Wellington, so I’ll address it directly—it absolutely lives up to the hype. It’s one of the best I’ve had. One thing to note is that the kitchen doesn’t rush the cooking process, so there can be a bit of a wait between ordering and receiving your food, but the quality makes it worth it.
The smoked Old Fashioned was a highlight. From the dried fruit and orange peel to the perfectly sized ice cube and well-balanced syrup, it was easily a 10/10.
I also want to commend the staff for their knowledge and hospitality. We visited as a large group, and they handled everything seamlessly.
That said, there are a few areas for improvement. While the menu is intentionally small, it may be time to expand it slightly to offer more variety. Additionally, the $10 charge for bottled or sparkling water isn’t clearly disclosed, which feels like something that should be communicated upfront. Lastly, all meals being placed on a single check was inconvenient—having individual checks would make the experience smoother, especially for groups.
Overall, Ramsay’s Kitchen St. Louis serves high-quality food and provides a great dining experience, with just a few operational tweaks that could take it to the next level.

My Wife and I were celebrating our 1 year wedding anniversary tonight. We came to Ramseys Kitchen for the first time because were big fans of his cooking shows obviously.
To start off we had a reservation at 5 and we had to wait 20 minutes to get seated. That honestly wasnt a big deal but at the same time that kind of raised a red flag.
We both got the tasting menu option. We were both looking forward to the beef wellington so much! naturally because we know that's Gordans signature dish. If he would have saw/tasted the beef wellington we got tonight he would of had somebody fired! To put it simply, it tasted like it was prepared a month ago. It didnt even come out hot, luke warm at best!
I dont know if our server was just incredibly busy but to us it was kind of a shame that we only saw him a total of 3 times. It just seemed like nobody cared to make it a personalized experience. It felt like they wanted you to eat your dinner, pay the bill, tip, and get out.
Needless to say we will be sticking with the Napoli franchise and not be coming back to Ramsay's kitchen until some higher standerds of fine dinning are met.
